What an amazing town! It's often described as a touch of New England in Northern California, but Mendocino is truly magically unique. Where else could you possibly see these sights?

The building in these first two photos is an old water tower, converted to a three floor store, Wind and Weather. It's absolutely amazing!

Part of the charm of Mendocino are it's converted water towers. This one is part of the Sweetwater Spa & Inn, and turned into a bed & breakfast room!

Look carefully; this is not a church! It's a healthfood market! Only in California!

The steeple of the town hall. The drama...

Not a grocery store, but one of the literally dozens of galleries that cover the town!

We stayed in a lovely bed & breakfast, in our own cottage; our very own private entrance!

The view in our backyard. Lovely English gardens.
